Bought from Lidl today, digital calipers accurate to 1 thou, measures in mm and inches. £7.99

Mine cost 20 quid from Harrogate a couple of years ago and I thought I was doing well!!

They are the best thing since sliced bread and I find myself using them for all sorts of measuring.

I just checked mine against a micrometer, and they are within 2 thou or so - perfectly good for most things.

Very useful indeed, except when you put them away without switching off...

The  Lidl haver auto off  so do the aldi ones
