Thanks guys glad you like her, next section of the build,
Showing top of w house with the base for the fly bridge stanchions to be attached to.
All the bulwarks stanchion post fitted.
First  layer of the bulwark planking attached ( strengthens it all up less chance of snapping one off), she will have an insert in the bulwarks.
Showing the bow section planked up ,she still has another rail above this section.
The stern section with the inserts .

Hi back again...
All the staunchan post have been recessed to allow the side capping strips.
Side strips in position prior to the capping rail.
Fly bridge with the fillers in between the post prior to its capping rail being attached.
Fly bridge capping shaped and ready to be attached.
Installed extra sort ribs for added strength around her shoulders......

Hi , next photos.
Slide door frames being fitted on the deck house.
I got lazy didn't plank the false rail used 1.2mm ply, gluing the shoulder sponsons (Tasmanian Oak )on after they were steamed and left in a jig over night.
Ready for priming  and undercoating.

Hi There next lot...
Starting on the back trawl gantries, using 3/8 "  &  1/4" copper tubing, most has come off our trawlers over the yrs,took a bit of time tapping here and there straitening the pieces.
Soldering the swing arms etc.
Pre fitting the gantries in their position on the back deck area.
Making the lugs etc for the mast & Boom.
Cutting out the hand railing flanges.....

Fitting the front hand railing.
Copper and brass work ready to be painted.
Bits n pieces painted.
Ready to solder the back w house ladder on.
Few more bits n pieces and the motor etc all installed ready for testing ( dry run).

hi Steve, since building this I refurbished (over 5 weeks) a model that my Father made some 60 yrs ago over, will put that up next,and since that have started on a UK fish trawler.......

Hi Peter, did have one going last year but now just a big mess, Catherine came down to the shed yesterday and said 'You go too fast' and that  if I made them half the size they would look cuter  :o .....
