Ah Brian, but mention to her that it will take twice as long to build, due to the intricacy of the reduced size nor will it be as cute.

Maintaining the current size enables you to be "away" from her for less time.  :-)) :-))

Good luck O0 O0

Looking good at current scales

100% class Brian. There are full scale cabinet makers who would do a lesser job than you have.

If you walked through the door of a model boat convention with these models, and there was a model competition, then I think the judges would just give you the trophies as I cannot fault them in any way. They look and as importantly sail well.

Lovely photos Brian, and not a croc in sight {-)  The low angle shots make the boats look very realistic.

Are you pulling our leg about the crocodile?
Do they get them in Byron Bay?

Yes Steve, the water's quite safe, as long as you only drink it and don't swim in it {-)

Hi There. made a set of trawl boards and net for this model and to use with the new model. We gave her a try out on N.Y.Eve in the North arm at Ballina N.S.W , couldn't ask for a better spot to try, nice flat sandy bottom (bit clearer would have been nice) and no terrorist that time of year to dodge, before any more runs with this gear just have to knock a bit of spread off the boards but other wise she looked the part while towing........

You do model engineering as well as carpentry! Lovely boat Brian. I like the attention to detail making the nets and the trawl boards which are models on their own.

As we have come to expect, award winnable work  :-))

Hi guys, the nice little schools of fish we did see there were educated ,they would just part and run down either side of the net ,but anyway all wasn't lost we did end up with bag full of weed :).
