Introduction
« on: July 11, 2016, 06:15:08 pm »

Hello Everyone,

As I joined Model Boat Mayhem earlier this year in April, I think I'd better get around to introducing myself. My name is Chris Preston, and I live in Victoria, BC, Canada (the "left" coast, politically and geographically). I'm 62 years old, semi retired (RCN - 44 years as a Reservist, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer, and Victoria Police - 25 years). I've been building models since 6 or 7 - static and R/C, Naval, Army, and Air Force subjects, and am currently working on a Deans Marine kit of their BPB Co 71' 6" MTB, as used by the RCN during the Second World War, updated with a beautiful set of propellers, shafts, and P-Brackets from the Prop Shop.

My other "hobby" is periodically driving and maintaining a one-to-one scale Daimler Ferret Mk 2/3 Armoured Reconnaissance Vehicle.

Cheers,

Chris Preston,

Thanks All.

You certainly "dominate" the road in a Ferret. No one argues with you.  :}

Cheers,

Chris
