A Series on Model boats would fit into the new phenomenon of Slow TV. I am sure that some of the closet modelling celebs could be persuaded to contribute to add an extra incentive to watch.

I can see 'Modellers World' rekindled for the modern age.

Who do you think would make good presenters for the next series?

The only way it will ever succeed is if they move to a completely new format, with new presenters and most importantly a new name!

As for the Model Boats show.... I think if you didn't limit it to boats, so include model railways, RC planes etc then it could be a possibility.
I think James May would be good for something like this as he does have a genuine interest in these kind of things.
Maybe also Martin Clunes.... A very accomplished woodworker

The Radio man's gone , the presenter's that's left are more than capable of doing the show properly.
As someone posted earlier "TOP GEAR" was really the JEREMY / JAMES / & richard show . . .
A Modelers show ? Don't think that would take off these day's , you haven't got the people that could do a proper job , from the dim & distant past I remember Vic Smeed / Bob Symes Shuman and a couple more doing a sterling job , all gone now alas.

You would think that a Model Show on Tv wouldn't work but last night I was astounded to see Trainspotting Live on the BBC!
