Mtronix 15 amp esc

Has any one heard of a mtronix esc swapping direction just by turning on and off each time.

Had this wired up to a pump on my sub and nearly lost it today  <:( .

what was happening was. I turned on the tx and model and the pump was working one way. took it out and found it revesered(thought it was me) but the back in the water and then the same happen empty was now fill and fill was empty. had it on the bank side and each time I turned off it did the same ?????

If it is plug and play then every time you switch it on it
goes ahead in the direction of the first movement of
the stick.
Or switch.
