Two Dickie Seaport rebuilds

(1/3) > >>

Hello ,

I am from the Netherlands and after reading a lot on this forum i found the time to post my Dickie Seaport rebuilds.

My first was a simple conversion to a Smit look a like.
Motor i used was a graupner speed 500E and 45mm prop on a new shaft.

My second conversion i took more time to think it over what i want
A navy Tug look a like.

Motor and esc not yet installed but i will use a simple setup like 540 motor and traxxas XL5 esc and sla 6v batt and i`m keeping the standard shaft and prop.

Later more ......

Capt Podge:
Nice work so far. I like the idea of a navy tug conversion. :-)

Regards,

Ray.

Two fine conversions :-))  Focused
I have been informed by the Bosun,
I have to do another for a grandson
just coming into the age of driving one.
I think HobbyKing have them for about
40 pounds.

I bought mine when they first came out - had to send away to London for it - they were £100.00p at the time. :o

It's now sitting in a corner, covered in all sorts of stuff, waiting in the queue for conversion. :((

Regards,

Ray.
