You'll be back at it soon enough once the workshop has been cleared of tiles and stuff.

After a long absence I can now confirm the build is now underway again. Nothing has been done on this project since May this year. What with builders working on the house and me  doing all the plumbing and other things  I had no time for model building.

Those crab/lobster pots are the ones that you strap a flagstone on the bottom to take them down. It is surprising how buoyant they are. Hope you have the bishop in as well. nemesis

Hi Missyd the fish boxes are from Macs Mouldings based in the uk.The lobster pots are from Cornwall Model Boats U/K.If you buy the Asterix 2 kit they are supplied with the kit. There is still a lot of detail to be added more pictures to follow.

HI I thought you might like to see some other items I have used to add detail to my build. Pit crew  from Tamiya  and garage set from Fujimi both of these are 1.24 scale. I also need a stool to go in the wheel house  this is made from six cocktail sticks and some ply. And finally some home made decals.

HI just a small update. The stool is ready to go in the wheel house I have also added some detail to the winch the kit version was a little bland. I need to paint the winch base then added some weathering /rust then fit to the model.

Stan I absolutely love the work you've done. I saw these two pics and quickly copied down the information. I can certainly use it for my build. I'll just paint the coveralls yellow for mine. I'll follow you from here. Regards.
