Artesania Latina Marina II
« on: August 24, 2016, 01:51:08 pm »

I have just bought this kit direct from AL in Spain.  The price included courier delivery and even with the poor Euro rate was very attractive :-))  It took just one week to arrive in a very sturdy box. All the parts were affixed to base board within the box so nothing had moved and got damaged. The quality of the fittings is superb and the cut parts look very crisp. Included are a full size plan, english written instructions and a glossy booklet of construction photos which actually refer to this kit!

I will be posting a build log on the RCMB forum, when I start building at the end of September.

I think that both the deck and the hull are planked, but there are certainly a lot of them. {-)

I should have said that this kit is designed for static display, not RC. Looking at the pictures of the construction, I'm not sure if it will be possible to convert it.

IF it can be converted, it would look great on the lake. O0

Hope to see more on this one. :-)
