Thanks for the comments.

I hope things will get better and more detailed as the hobby really starts to get serious.

I enjoyed making the first one and now thinking details make the model.

so the next time I will try and add a little more.

Buying a few basic tools like a scalpel and blades today the first was all done with a Stanley Knife.

Don't worry about weight.
Mine is f/glass has two 6v SLAS at
710 grammes each and still needed
ballast

Just weighed it ready for the lake today at 3.5Kilos
Ned

Filled up or part filled up a kids inflatable paddling pool to mess around with the ballast  So With ballast the total  weight is now  3kg 435 Grams so about the same as yours ..

The second and last one should be completed very soon Then on with testing at a lake or pond.

Then I guess on with something completely different  But NOT  a kit.

I was thinking if I was to put a pitch on both sides of the wheelhouse I would not be able to use one side for carrying goods  .

I like the stowage, thats a proper working vessel and no mistake  :-))

Both are top class models and the fibreglassing was first class as well.

The very first springer tug in fact the very first model boat I had ever made has been no taken off and a new top has been made for it.

The second one has also now been taken apart and a new top has started .
No idea what it will be  so only time will tell.
