Reading plan

So I have built a swordsman .


Is there a knack to reading plans my next build is a warship wood pack but still not confident on how to read plans.   


Anyone give me a guide feel a bit silly asking this

The way I would tackle it is check the keel and frames first -study how each is located and what may be attached at a later time. Then leave it for a few hours then return and study some more. Eventually you will form in your mind a plan of action on how to tackle each part so that it doesn't interfere with anything else that needs adding at a later time.
