Hi Peter - In the first instance, do you know where / when the real boat was built, I'm thinking you may need to acquire a copy of the plans ?

Regards,

Ray.

Peter.....building a scratch built model boat from full size builders drawings and plans can itself be a little daunting, however attempting to gain sufficient dimensions and proportions from the internals of the real vessel would certainly be an added challenge especially understanding & correctly lofting the water lines

Is there a similar proportioned/designed vessel of shall we say 'near the same design that plans are available for' and could be melded to your specific vessel in mind?

I think this way you would save a lot of heartache %)........... Derek

Many years ago I built a model of a crabber named `Peadar Elaine` the plans were in an issue of `Model Boats`.   Try Googling and see what comes up.  Pete

The good side if there is one is my boat is built as a double chimed hull but the bilge is curved as well maybe get away with a cygnus ds 25 hull from models by design
