Hi Justin

This is my setup for all my Hobbyking car ESC's using the program card.

1 Cutoff Voltage 3S=8.7, 4S=11.6 (2.9 per cell). This is the only change I do in the setup when changing Batteries.

I recommend a voltage alarm(Hobbyking part No. Voltage-Alarm( the black ones).
These also check total voltage and each cell voltage.

2 Start Power Percent 10%

3 Advance Timing 4(I have used this on these motors B28-57-17L 1700kv, B28-5715L 1900kv, 2836-3700kv,Trackstar 17.00T 2400kv, 3639-750, 3639-1100, D3548/4 1100, 3648-1450 and XK3674 1900).

4 Run Mode(2)

5 Brake Force (1) 50%

6 Drag Brake Force (1) 0%

7 Neutral Force 8%(default)

8 Initial Brake Force (1) 5%

9 Reverse Force (1) 25%

i've used parallel packs, but i CHARGE them in parallel as well. that way they always have a matched voltage. the notes above are good though, don't take liberties, and don't charge unattended, you can loose your home if you do !!

Thanks to everyone for all this info - the build of Tamar is now in progress. Very early days though.

It needs real world testing to get me further. What revs equate to what seed through water etc.

Re batteries - ideally I would rather do without parallel batteries so I will wait until I find out what my run time is.
