Don't know precisely, but would estimate around the 8-10kg range dry, and considerably more when wet.

If you want something easily transportable, an attack class nuke in the same scale- 1/96- would be much easier, and they sail nicer too, owing to the lower aspect ratio.

Trident bomber boats are always chunky unless very small scale. The earlier bomber boats are a lot more manageable at 1/96 scale. Think carefully about the boat you choose, there are plenty out there.

If you want a nice portable ssbn that sails brilliantly then the engel laffayette is the way to go, especially if you can get a second hand one!

Jaymac.
One point no one has mentioned is a dry or wet hulled boat.
Ie free floodareas all around a module or a built in pressure hull with only small.rear area that is free flood.
Remember as a kid trying to hold a football under water ?.
If transportation weight is an issue you need to go for a wet hulled boat ie one with a module in it this will keep the weight down considerably.
