Looking good to me. I think we all have moments where the work we have done has to be redone  >:-o Despite trying to plan ahead, a little spanner waits to hurl its self in the works.

Keep up the good work  :-))

First coat of paint on the hull using revell enamels as per the instructions, not my usual choice but they brush well. Smaller parts will be air brushed .

Revell enamels can be a mixed bucnh. I find some are really good while others are a bit thick. Mind you, I bought a tinlet of Matt49 varnish made  by Humbrol and it was like treacle both in colour and consistency. It works OK, but it needs thinning down.

How are you finding the colours?

The 2 I mixed together for the hull colour were good, much better than the last tin of humbrol I bought a few weeks ago which took ages to stir was still really watery. Usually use tamiya acrylics but think enamels  will stand up to life on the water better!

Are you going to weather her? That light grey will be a great basis on which to get busy with rust and rain streaks.

Looking good  :-))

Just need to make a mount for the rx and then try and work out how to attach the smoker to the hull so it goes up the funnel !

Does the smoker have a blower fan in it? If so, some trunking made from plastic tube to meet the funnel would surely be enough to get your smokiness  through the funnel?

Smoker is installed and working. I know it probably a bit of an over kill, but using this as a learning curve for other projects in the future. Am now  concentrating on the fiddle bits and beefing then up with plastic wood and brass!
