Springer carriers

Hi chaps.
Just finished my first springer (will post pics soon), but need some ideas for carriers to transport it to the lakeside.
I've got a trolley and a couple of copper pipe carriers for my other boats but due to the odd shape of the springer, I'm looking for something different.
A Google search has not come up with much.  What contraptions do you guys use? Boxes? Cradles?
Looking forward to some interesting ideas.

A wooden box with straps made from webbing .
A handle either side or a shoulder strap.

Here's mine.  Very sturdy, easy to carry.  Holds the turkey baster bilge pump, door springs, tow lines, etc. as well as the boat.  Note the thin wooden straps on the side to keep the boat from sliding out.  And I used D-shaped soft window seal for the boat to rest on.

I did not draw any plans for the carrier.  I made a pattern for the curved sides of the boat, and used the pattern to make the contact areas of the carrier.  The material is MDF, except the bottom is pegboard.  As I said before the soft material the boat rests on is a window seal from the hardware store.
