Radar motors
« on: December 19, 2016, 05:54:46 pm »

Hi all found couple of motors i like to power the 1022 radar on HMS Bristol only problem is they all seem to be 6 volt.  How can. I step down from 12 vt to 6 volt without a lot of trickery?

You could wire the 2 motors in series for a 12 volt battery. Switch either wire about to get them both running in same direction

If size is important I have a limited number of these units at £1 each plus post at cost.
You find them on Ebay by searching "DC-DC BUCK CONVERTER MODULE STEP DOWN 3A • ADJUSTABLE • 4.5-28V to 0.8-20V"
