Have a look at the component shop website

They are by far one of the leading batt suppliers in the uk...if not the largest....their prices are far cheaper tham the shops and they also sell chargers and they are UK based.

They will gladly advise you as well

Thanks Dave,

I have just sent them an email to ask their advice too.

I WILL, however, wait until the boat arrives (tomorrow  %% ) and see what happens hahahaha

Thankfully you've ordered a boat with a Nihm battery rather than LiPo!  :)

Haven't ventured out with it yet.

I have just ordered a 5000mAh 7.2V battery (it is similar size to the 2600mAh 7.2V battery that came with the boat (the Helion Rivos) just to get more "floating time"  :embarrassed:

Will the charger that came with the original boat battery charge the 5000mAh battery okay, or will I have to buy another charger that will do both?

Thanks
Ian

Thanks - that is exactly what Wheelspin Models said!

As long as there isn't a weight/size issue, I should be able to cause chaos on my local lake(s) very soon!

But of course I won't because I am always incredibly sensible heeheehee
