Excellent news. These were a nice set of mouldings for a handy size of model. Lots of room inside for a tube too.

That is good!

There are so few WW1 British sub models around and good that it corresponds with the the Centenary of the end of the war.

Beautiful finish, plenty of options for different E’s from the Great War to build too. :-)

The plan is to offer early group 1 E, single bow tube and large conning tower as in AE1 & AE2.
Group 2 flat fore deck and short back casing as in E9 & E11.

Hi will there be any fittings or etched decks available for the mouldings?

At the moment we have rudder, hydroplanes and hydroplane guards. I’m looking at doing the beam torpedo tubes and may be the periscope standards, but not a full set of fittings.
I’m not planning to do etched deck, as the deck is mainly steel plate with a few hatch’s in it. No flooding slots like a VII.

Hi
I know that Dave got all the drawings from a museum in Australia but don't know which one,
I did have some photos of Dave's boat, I also got to sail it a few times.

That's all right, Mr Ryan. My Morse is so rusty, I could be sending him dimensions on Playmate of the Month.

I could possibly help with a deck etch, I have the shape as a DWG and drawings showing details for the E class and the AE subs?

Can I ask what size water tight cylinder it would accommodate?

I have the remains of a WTC from one of these models. It is a 4" 100mm O.D. unit. Not sure of the length though.

I was building one a while back hence I have drawings and templates for a deck etch, all depends on which you want to do? As you can see there was a fair bit of detail
