Pulsetec 45a brushed esc
« on: January 14, 2017, 02:20:48 pm »

hi I have the above esc, coupled to Niamh battery and graupner 600 motor. I am also using a Planet T5 TX.
The esc bleeps when switched on and also I have servo power, operational on tx. I can't get motor power, have tested motor separate. Esc constantly flashes red. Niamh set on esc, does anyone have any ideas, battery is fully charged.

With everthing switched on try pushing throttle on TX handset full up and then full down and return to mid position to allow it to calibrate

Having googled it looks like you can movce jumpers - althought no idea what functionality this changes - do you have jumpers on yours?

I assume there was no manual with it.
This is the sequence I would try.
1. Check the esc to receiver plug, constant flashing might mean no signal.
2. check the channel you are using coresponds with the stick you want to use, with a servo. if ok....
3. plug esc back in, connect to motor, check all conections, again, assume nothing.
4. swich everything off. centre the stick, switch on transmiter, plug in battery for motor / esc and switch on.
5. move stick full up, and full down as previously posted.
6. If still u/s contact the shop.

Good luck.

Hi sorry for delay been fiddling. I could lie or I could tell you I have been a plonker. Esc out to receiver was in b terminal as opposed to channel 2. I had assumed esc to rec bat was right. Servo and motor now working with servo going into channel 1. Left hand stick is now servo, operating left and right. Motor is on right hand stick, but forward is right as opposed to up. Not sure how to get forward and reverse as up and down. Any suggestions?
Thanks again for everyone's help

Up & Down on the right hand stick is the ELEVATOR channel on the receiver. Most TX & RX are marketed at the aircraft boys. It sounds like your got it plugged into the AILERON channel ..... which is Left to Right movement on the right hand stick.

It is fairly normal to have the THROTTLE on the left hand stick (Up & Down) and to have the rudder on the right hand stick, i.e side to side (remember this will be termed AILERON).

Hope this helps.

Simply plug the devices into the channels that correspond to the sticks you want to use.
Other things I have done to prevent things working include plugging items between rows of pins rather than onto the pins themselves and placing the plug upside down.
