of the craftsmanship that has gone into making this launch.

The lines of it, the art deco styling, the timber so highly polished its like a mirror finish. Whoever built this is truly a craftsman.

If it was mine I would make passengers wear slippers to prevent them scratching the finish.

Gorgeous ad also great find Brian. It would make a lovely model.

I wouldn't allow passengers and I would
Employ a team to dry and polish it after my
trip round the bay.

Derek,
Cut your cousins a bit of slack... right hand drive is not really so rare across the pond. After all, we stopped recognizing lines on the sea back around 1776... :embarrassed:

PS, Of course the current "one" may draw his "own" lines........

As far as I know, almost all vessels "over here" are right hand drive.

I am lucky in that we have a marine museum close to us that is loaded with these wooden beauties. There is a regatta there every summer with about 150 of them on the water in a parade. Some are quite historic in they were originally built for some of the Captains of Industry way back when.

I will get some pics of the parade this summer.
