SMIT (Svitzer) Rotterdam following the sister ships London and Singapore. Almost stripped down to nothing on an Indian beach...

Seeing these photos and others similar, can anyone please explain to me how they haul the ships further up the beach as they chop more and more off the bow.
I have never seen photos of any hauling tackle, and there are some huge vessels on those beaches [ just like the one right of the trio] so how do they do it.

I believe that as demolition proceeds, the hulks become lighter and float off as the tide rises. The are then pulled a bit further up the beach until they ground again. Simple but effective.
