BBC`s "Spy in the Wild" boaty things.
« on: February 02, 2017, 10:21:08 pm »

Been some interesting aquatic mechanical camera creatures on this programme.  Submerging hippo and a turtle for instance.  A mobile pile of elephant dung  :embarrassed: with camera fitted too.  Next week`s  edition will be a "how it was done", should be worth watching.

And an excellent show it was. Couple of those floaty things down the boating lake would certainly wake up some people.

It was stunning. The realism in some of those "models" is amazing.

Nemo, are you another Spot the Dog fan? My wife informs me that the hippo in those books resides behind a flap on the page, and her name is Helen.

No Martin. When I took her to the pond for the first time, the kids asked me what her name was and the first thing that came to mind was ...!  ;)

I'll have to be careful next time I take the tugs sailing to Princes Park then! And the grandkids would never believe it if I told them to watch out for the hippo!  :}
