Hello to all,


Just joined the group, I am a scratch built modeller having built quite a few over the years, the second model I built being a Type 1X U-boat.  That was (Blimy) almost 50 years ago.  I tend to build big and without plans just a Bow, Stern and side photograph plus the true length and beam and choose my own scale.  All are radio controlled with many working features. eg home made bow thrusters, sound systems, radars and so on.  I will upload some photo's shortly.
