Radio Control and Arduino

A few Mayhemers have formed a new forum to discuss, explore and develop Arduino and Radio Control in their models.

What is Arduino? >>> http://rcarduino.freeforums.net/thread/72/arduino

If you have an Arduino or are interested and want to learn more about the subject, what this technology is all about and what it can do, then why not come and join us.

You can find the new forum here >>> http://rcarduino.freeforums.net

Hi Andy

I am not selling anything! at best I am simply a facilitator of ideas - If any cash crosses my palms with "Arduino" then it's heading to the RNLI as a charitable donation.

The forum is simply a place for RC enthusiasts to share ideas and seek help with their projects.

This thread is why I like Mayhem so much.

Mayhem is not a stand alone community, it is generous enough allow advertising for other forums.

Most other forums would delete such posts, being unable to stand such "competition"

Thank you Martin.

What competition? If anyone asks about arduino in mbm, you are usually met with the echo of silence in a great hall. Probably the only ones to answer would be c3po (jonathon) or dimtim. In that respect isn't it better for this forum to allow another forum to offer the in depth / complicated answers it cannot give? Especially when that 'competition' has only a fleeting association with model boats. I'm sure in times to come microprocessors of one type or another, arduino, picaxe, raspberry pi or any of the others will become the norm within communities as and when modellers realise just how useful they are. Until that day why not visit other forums?
