Hello,
The pool at Coalville was really well engineered, solid construction - - NO LEAKS at all !!.
All of the parts were of similar size, it would be easy to transport.
Drainage points were built in, allowing slow release of water when draining, if required.
Quite the best pool I have seen !!.
John.  :-))

So an all up weight of around 19 tonnes for the 16x24 ft pool.
The figure soon mounts up.

Ha ha thats mine......water didnt even go near it when i emptied it.....think the hosepipe in the Norbreck will be running for a wee while eh Malcs....

Dave
..Indeed it will - that's why we like to get started as soon as we can on the Friday with a full 24X24.  If only they had a bigger hose that we could use.
I do hope that the OP took note of the side bowing problem with the straw bale arrangement.  Deeper water exerts a lot more sideways pressure, and by the time it gets noticed, it's a bit late.

Up-date from Canal Pilot.  The liner has arrived and the hay bales come on Sunday, the next thing is to build the pool!!!
We have been told that a friendly word with the local Fire Service might help.  There should be hydrants on site as it is an old airfield.
