The March 2017 Big Wet in Northern OZ
« on: March 30, 2017, 01:18:23 am »

Hey Arrarrty

How are your chooks?....perched up nice & high I hope  %).......are OK?......I am guessing you may not have electricity

This morning they are talking of releasing 'mega quantities' of water from the Wivenhoe Dam which will again cause flooding  <*< on the food bowl plains that are already flooded %%

Hindsight is fine with 20:20 vision, however it appears this massive water resource dam [twice the water capacity of Sydney Harbour] should never have been built in it's location

The remnants have gone through the Sunshine Coast over the last 6 hours 80-90kph winds and torrential rain. Palm trees nearly horizontal and anything not tied down is gone.

Not to worry it's Queensland and tomorrow will be beautiful ok2
