FALKlands Task Force Fleet 35th Anniversay ATLANTIC CONVEYOR
« on: April 10, 2017, 06:48:44 pm »

HI ALL, I'm looking to make contact with anyone who has a 144th or 1/96th scale Atlantic Conveyor, as we'd like to have one on the alter at Holy trinity Church in Hull on 28th May for a memorial service for the Merchant Navy officers and ratings who volunteered for the conflict, the model would hopefully sit on the alter, Linkspan are hopefully going to bring their Norland

If anyone can help it would be great to hear from you.

thanks

That is a splendid act Sean. I hope you find a model to help the congregation remember and thank those who made the sacrifice during the conflict.

Hi Rich,

My friend around the corner from me still has a bit of the original vessel in his leg.

Try contacting Hull Model Boat club or other local clubs at Cleethorpes and Bridlington. Some one may have one or one of the other Hull ships involved. Norland is a strong possibility.
