Looks really nice Nick.  Finishing planking is a major milestone on ships of this size  :-))
Gonna need a lot of stanchions though  {:-{

Thanks Bob

Iím just calculating the number of the stanchions required, there are two different types to take into consideration as well. Two ball items for the upper superstructures and three ball for the decks. Problem is just as I think Iíve found them all, I find more! :D
When Iím sure Mr Dean will have a rather large order coming his way. :-))

Nick,

I purchase my stanchions from Cornwall Model boats and found thier prices were pretty good. Excellent service too. I purchased 200 of the RB ones (same as you used on your Dreadnought) - really very good. I was planning on bringing Invincible to Mayhem on Saturday and Iron Duke on Sunday unless domestic stuff intrudes!

Cheers

Good tip Geoff.   I will be planking and stanchioning HMS Agincourt fairly soon, so useful info.  Thanks.

PS:  I will be bringing Agincourt to Mayham on the Saturday, hoping to compare gunfire.  There is a surprise in store regarding this which remains top secret until then.   %%
