Hi all this is another build that I am just starting.

Its the nice weather we are having lads, its been a while since i build anything but enjoying these hull builds. :-))

Jeez you really like work don't you! That's gonna be two noteworthy builds I'll be following O0 O0

Davie Tait, while we are talking trawlers, have you bought the recently published hardback called British Steam Trawlers, isbn: 9781903599 23 5 Its an absolute treasure of information and plans - right down to plans of galley stoves and otter boards :-) Written by another Scotsman from Aberdeen way I think.

Started on the base today, managed to get keel frame in and a couple of side frames fitted to the base.

small update from today most of the frames cut out and fitted, working on the bow section a little  bit harder then the stern

The installation of the frames looks very neat and clean Brian - which type of glue have you used ?

Mitre fast bond Ray, I use it all the time great stuff 10 second fix. I get mine from screwfix best price  :-))

Not a lot done today but managed to get all the frames cut and fitted, I decided to use pine for the planks on this build instead of ply.

If I may butt in here,  ;)  Brian.....thanks for mentioning this book. Mine has arrived this morning, and as a beginner it will be a great help with my Boston Typhoon build.
