Happened on this in Cornwall last Friday. May be of use to RFA modeller.

Nice photos Doug - She would make a great model.
Had a chap email me the other week asking if we would consider producing kits of the RFA ships but had to disappoint him.
Something for Fleetscale or Mr Dean to consider maybe?

Yes interesting photo's... :-))

The WIKI people confirm...

"RFA Argus is a ship of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary operated by the MoD under the Blue Ensign. Italian-built, Argus was formerly the container ship MV Contender Bezant"

However did not suggest what the ramp like structure [behind the superstructure and amid ships]...was used for

Looks like a hinged ramp with a lot of service pipes [in the raised or housed position], however I cannot see it pivoting or swivelling athwart ships unless it is telescopic?

Interesting, that second picture of her being towed. No wonder we argue about shades of grey!
