New Transmitter Battery Pack
« on: June 17, 2017, 02:13:26 pm »

...Hi Guys...

I have just bought a new 9.6 volt Battery Pack for my Futaba Handset...
Do I have to charge it before I use it tomorrow...
I dont want to travel to a show and then run out of Transmitter Battery Power 2 weeks in a row...

...Best Regards...Norry Mason...

It is likely to be partially charged but I would definitely charge it before you go.

Without knowing how much charge is in the battery, and the charge rate of your charger, we can't be precise. Your charger probably had a charge sensor to cut of when fully charged. I would give it 5 hours minimum as a ball park figure. Most transmitters don't use much power.
