Over in the Club Events section, under the heading 'Sunday at Kirklees', go to page three, there is a fine model of the Chariot that features on some of the entries...by the way, you guys at Kirklees have a fine selection of models :-))

 Hello Again
I am sorry to post that as of today; Sun. July 30, 2017, there has been No reply to my posting for information help on the chariot build from the person who built and posted his work.
Maybe he is NOT a regular visitor here, maybe someone could give him a nudge from me?
Thanks

I am not even sure if this is the same model but this was seen at the recent Norwich MBC Submarine event. I have cropped the 2 man from the large picture.

Yes that is the one.

More photos and a couple of videos over here:

The model seemed to perform very nicely.

 Hello Again
First, Thank You Stan for your Time and Help.
Yes that is the one I am after information for.
After looking at the picture, I see there is an externally mounted WTC below it, what is it`s purpose since it has a internal WTC?
Also Stan if you could ask the builder, measuring back from the tail end forward, how long is the taper part of the main torpedo body?
That length is what I am after.
Thanks Again for ALL the help.

Also forgot to mention.
Looking at that table, WOW it has MOST of what I am crazy about; Type XXIII, Xcraft, Either Type VII or IX not clear, like them both.
Thanks for posting

The tank underneath counter balances the Divers, as they are heavy. the builder is waiting on light wieght ones, then the external wtc will be removed. I think the builder is a member ofhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/Diveintomodelsubmarines/

Hello
Again many Thanks for the help and the videos are inspiring.

I have a question about counter rotating propeller drives.
Can someone tell me from looking from the stern (rear) forward, the closest to the body propeller, what direction does it turn when going forward? Also then the outer propeller then is turning in the opposite direction.

I am working on a plan BUT for the life of me, researching on line and I can`t seem to see clearly enough which propeller is turning in which direction.

Any help would be appreciated and a video if possible to see PLEASE.

Thanks In advance

The chariot in the video is my works one, it is set up as a dynamic diver. As to the props chariots only had a single prop.

Great video, dangerous stuff, i'm thinking again. Missus will go nuts.

What is the second craft in the video, the red one?

Hi Adam
Could you tell me what the diameter of your prop is for your chariot? Also Left or Right hand?
Thanks

Hi
I started with a 65mm and have dropped down to a 55mm, 3 blade prop.
As there is only one it doesn't matter whether it is RH or LH

Hello Again
Just giving my update. I have been in contact with Mount fleet models and I received my first part order as I had to break up the order because of costs. I have to say from ordering to receiving, across the pond to me here in Canada WOW how fast it was. I don`t get parts from my U.S neighbors that fast! You would think they were here in Canada. Excellent Service!

Well have to finish another project before this starts though.

Will keep you updated when I can.
