HMS Phoebe clean up
« on: July 25, 2017, 08:18:58 pm »

While waiting for my eye sight to return to normal, work on Bristol has come to a halt, so decide to give HMS Phoebe a tidy up and wash down.  Think she looks good for it. :}

Is she painted with the old Humbrol 64? She has that nice green/blue tinge to her that the new 64 does not have.

A lovely colour, I inherited a tinlet some years back but it only lived long enough for me to paint the bridge and funnel of the Monitor. It is such a shame that they changed it to the point that it is now glorified grey primer  :(( If you needed to touch it up you might get a colour match done.
