My 'sodium serum' has been low for years. found that out looking at my old med records, I did mention it to the GP at the time..more than once,  no action or further investigation was taken.

I refuse to see the U****** I**** now.

I could tell lots more but....................................

Bottom line is that this particular GP does not like me...for reasons i'll not go into on here, suffice to say he wouldn't tell me if I had low salt in my blood if I paid him to admit to the fact, he doesn't 'like me' full stop, how do I know this? I only have to read my medical records to see what he has written about me to know  :o .

End of subject...before I get into real trouble  <*< :police:

' I don't know what it is ' would be a welcome retort from my GP.
'It's all because you smoke' is all I get !

I had a tia aka ministroke.
At the time I was trying to give
up smoking.
GP could or would not prescribe
Nicotine patches.
To safeguard him not me.
Nicotine without all the crap in tobacco
would have been a lot safer for me.
I went cold turkey and stopped,
The rules at the time said TIA, no
nicotine I presume.
Tomorrow I go for the fickle finger of fate
and probably a scan and a ticker gram
What the hell. I'm 74 and still building boats :-))

From Ned.....

"At the time I was trying to give up smoking. GP could or would not prescribe Nicotine patches"

This sounds illogicial Ned  >>:-(.....in Australia we can still purchase any of the Nicobate/Nicoret patches, mist inhalers type products etc over the counter without a Doctors prescription....the Medical fraternity and Government actively support this...to the point where Nicotine replacement patches are now covered by our National Health System.....$6.50 for a Prescription for a months course

Some 20 years ago...a 3 month course [@ $50.00 per month] of the patches allowed me to totally give the dreaded cigarettes away .....I just wish my dear wife [] would follow the same path .......
