Wayne.................those props certainly look to be a good profile & design after cleaning :-)) and for the style and vintage of the vessel, brass/bronze aged finish always looks better than red paint

I certainly do not know the answer, however it may be best to research the direction of the props......ie., either inboard turning or outboard turning.... again I understand you are not sure of the exact Class of vessel, however I suspect most types of this general design would have similar handed drives.......Derek

Hi Derek, I had thought inward turning, but I didn't think they might be outward turning?

been working on this boat again - plenty of sanding and filling and primer and sanding, it wont be perfect but as a rebuild will be OK. I have also been drawing up a new superstructure - Will build a card model of it to see how it looks once I have the hull sorted.

For now, we invite members to repost their photo in a new post and the mods to re-insert new photo back to original posts.  :-)

Well I tried to add the photos using the photo button but they would not show, so you will have to make do with the links - if that does not suit you, nothing I can do - Wayne

Right worked it out, do not need the image button - Some of the older pics - you can see the old superstructure in the one photo - That has been thrown away as it was awful

Right the rudders have arrived, can anyone direct me to somewhere that sells control horns suitable for 3mm rod that have a grub screw to attach them, I need a right angle control horn and a single arm though I can cut off one of the arms on the double arm one I have - Many thanks Wayne
