fleetscale HMS King George V class
« on: August 28, 2017, 08:27:25 am »

Hi all, thinking about purchasing the semi kit as my next build. Interested if anyone has gone this route in 1:128 and thoughts on the fittings received etc. It's a lot of cash but I think it will make a fantastic model. Thanks for any responses!

All service and fittings I have received from Fleet scale are 1st class, given that I am working in 1/72, but have also used their 1/96, so see no reason for the other scales to be anything other than good.

Hello Paul, I've built several models from Fleetscale and can confirm they are the best quality you can buy and great service from Justin. I have not built KGV, but did build Warspite a few years ago, now woking mainly in 1/72 scale. Jon

Thanks for Sharing Jon. A fantastic looking model. I think I'm pretty much decided to get a fleet scale hull, apart from KGV my other preference would be for a county class destroyer circa mid 60s. Either way both will make good winter projects!
