zwarte zee single prop

I am trying to get my head round the statement that the Zwarte Zee can run one engine forward and one in reverse, is this maybe a typo in Billings paperwork, or maybe I am missing some thing. :police: chast8

Single prop must mean can run forward or astern normal operation. For your model application  the same will apply.

On the real ship she had two engines . for manoeuvring she ran one forward and one astern and would flick between them with her hydrolic gear box coupling . This mean she could go astern very quickly.Note when she was built variable pitch props were not around
