hi i was wondering which failsafe's you run in your boats and has anyone had any problems with a gws fs-2............Pete

Hi Pete
The FS2 (or the FS1 - you don't need low battery) work OK as long as they're dry  ::) ::)
One end of the throw works better than the other, so can be jittery at one end.
I've got an Mtronic (I think) which has a push button setup.  Very small and the same price as the FS1.  I got it at Weymouth but can't remember who from.  It's working very well - so far, and was really easy to set.

cheers Danny and jittery is an understatement ive been looking at an mtronics on ebay for about £12 all in so i think ill go with this, its fully waterproof as well...........thanks.................Pete

My GWS failsafes have so far worked as they should, no issues.

Use Schumacher/Mtoroniks (same thing despite the name difference).
I bought the first one to try from Tony Ellis of Model Marine Supplies and then went back and bought 6 more. Price about £10 each.

TRIED SETTING MINE THE WAY YOU DID ITS SO EASY WHEN YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING O0 O0 O0
