Help from Scotland
« on: August 07, 2018, 05:55:00 pm »

Good Evening,
I believe that there's a possibility that the Yarrow archives are in Scotland. It seems that they were at the University of Glasgow but have been shifted via the Register of Archives for Scotland and that seems to be a bit of a minefield.
Has anyone been through them and, if so, what's the best way to approach the system?

Hi Gingyer,
I've been through Nat Archives and apparently there are a series of archives for Yarrow in their different names covering a period from 1839. The only reference I've got to is NRAS 2190.I've no idea what they cover but the drawings in Graces Guide (See Help from Japan) must have come from somewhere, along with the data they hold. So any info on builds at the Poplar yard in the late 1880's is the target.
Any guidance would be much appreciated.
