1/2 scale no problem
« on: November 26, 2017, 03:30:47 pm »

One or two may be interested in a half scale (almost) Fairey Marine Huntsman I built in Nigeria in 1975. Used weekly on the Niger Delta, (Bonney and New Callabar rivers) it worked brilliantly and was built from the memory of my Veron Huntsman 1/8 scale RC boat built two years previously. Left behind in Port Harcourt I wonder how she finished up.  (ps tried to ad a pic but somehow denied)

Design was based n the Veron Huntsman plan. Which I had built 5 years earlier. Same technique and worked. Also with a Mercury 402 gave an impressive turn of speed
