right whose idea was this????? as i only work 4 nights and o had last night off, i decided to crack on with the build. so this afternoon i made the 3 lots of guns  for the rear deck area, 4 vents and z funnel.  the guns are soooooo small. the assembly pictures are bigger than the models ones!
also the carpet monster reared its head on several occasions!
pics to follow hopefully. i just need to calm down before i throw the model.

ok....
this is one of the lewis gun mounts with a 5p for scale. i lost one of the guns to the carpet monster last week and found it 6 days later! this should give you a scale for the model!

Martin.  im using an m4 rabosech prop cut to 8cm out tube and 11cm inner shaft. bear in mind this suits my motor size and position in the boat plus i have a custom made solid coupling.

Hi everyone

Just had a nice delivery a few minutes ago for my build. I’m glad I ordered these little beauties instead of attempting to scratch build them! Think I would have gone more insane!
For my HMS Pennywort as she was an acoustic minesweeper too:
What we have from Niall is an anchor winch, high rail depth charge rails, and the all important acoustic hammer and minesweeping winch system.

I can see the issue with the lack of bacon rolls- we’d mutiny at work if weren’t allowed bacon butties. I feel your pain.

Quick question:

Does any have a clue what these bits are for?
They are part of the LL Magnetic & Acoustic minesweeping equipment but I don’t know where they would fit.

The top two pieces appear to be wood gratings.

Yes, I would agree with that assessment. The smaller grating has an angled bracket beneath it so that matches the drawing you have provided. Many thanks :-))
