Tsekoa 2 (sort of)
« on: December 09, 2017, 01:14:17 am »

Not really been into the model boat side of things for a while as been sidetracked by the world of 1/24 aircraft plastic kits. Had a look back at my tsekoa kit which has been looking forlorn and in progressed for a couple of years and decided I wasn't really happy with it. I actually work as a marine engineer so now have better ideas and access to tolling and materials so shall be reconstructing the running gear. Been depending the evening making jigs and templates out of cardboard.

Due to the great photo bucket ransom I'm going to now have to sort out a way of getting images across but should get some later on. See my profile pic for the basic ideas of what I'm aiming for ( its a MS paint special)

Hi 110sames

I am also in the process of rebuilding the Tsekoa 2, mine had been damaged when we moved and so far I have replaced the for deck and I am now working on the wheelhouse.

Looking forward to you build.

All the best

This afternoon I've spent making the H shape deck supports

I think I'm going to move the servo location to the centre to make access a bit easier

I've had it working with everything loosely connected which is promising I just have to install everything properly

I had so much fun building it, and it makes me want to do another.
