An Appropriate Name...
« on: September 06, 2007, 04:26:58 pm »

...Hi Guys...

My Wife spotted an advert in Scot-Ads last night for a 1/50 Scale Unfinished Model of the Clyde tug "FLYING PHANTOM"
I gave the chap a call & left amessage on his answering machine,,,He called me back a couple of hours later to give me details of the boat...It turned out that it was the one started by myself & sold when i got Tyne Models 1/32 Scale version....

I have now bought the boat back & i am planning on finishing it for wee Johnny...I will post pictures later...

Do you think that " FLYING BOOMERANG" would be a good name for the finished boat...

If a tug was to go as far of coarse as some of the topics on this forum, There would be an abundance of groundings & collisions...Wrecks everywhere...
This topic for instance is about a tug I built several years ago returning to my ownership after changing hands several times, But we seem to have ended up in a Gay Club in the Midlands...

...Hi Guys...

I,m not looking to get anyone into trouble from the Forum Administrators, I just dont like the way a lot of the topics on the forum go off course and on to a totally different subject which is nothing whatsoever to do with the original posting...
By all means guys post your funny tales for us all to read, But post them in the right place...

Would someone give me a hand to get down off this Soapbox so that I can get on with my work...

...Best Regards...Norry...

You are quite right Norry, topics do go off track but usually there is no evil intent, people just forget themselves and the thing takes off by itself! By reporting to the Moderators things can be put back in the groove with no harm done.

     ...Hi Guys...

"The bit of wood on top of the wardrobe" would be the correct name at present as it has been shelved until i can get around to completing  it...

    ...Best Regards...Norry...
