I have not bought or sold over mayhem, however I think it is a site for genuine modellers. Problem is us modellers usually have too many boats so do not ‘bite’ easily. Recently on our club site appeared a Graupner Dachs, which I wanted, when I talked to the seller we found he wanted a Billings Flyvefisken which I had, though I was giving him a good deal we did a straight swap, the important thing is that we were both happy. However being a northern lad I would not have driven to Kent, so it is not just money but location ( I did drive a total of 3 1/2 hours), but there has to be some limits. Your boat looks great but not what I ‘need’ , though I don’t need a Robbe fl8, if it was I would still be trying to figure out how to get it shipped north
Regards. Ken

Why not push the boat out so to {-) {-) speak Take it down the pond / lake, and the first kid to ask a question or a glimmer of interest about the boat, let him her have the boat as a freebe, you could even give them a note for their parents saying that you give it away  no holds to do with as they wish :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))
We could then end up with another life long model boat enthusiast, O0 O0 all because some bloke gave me a boat when I was a kid  :-) :-)
PS wish it would happen to me someday %% %%

Sellers prerogative I suppose, but I tend to agree. It’s not the first time I’ve skipped something that certain people wanted, but wouldn’t  put their hands in their pockets to pay for.
I would rather dump it than see these people get their grubby paws on it.

There are some miserable sods out there, always wanting something for nowt!!
Just my humble opinion.

totally agree bri………...nice funeral pior on a grp boat goes down well lol.
