Hi all sorry but further on on this one as I was unable to post pics before.

My missus asked what I wanted for Christmas and I said an unusual model, well she never disappoints so here is what I got. Apparently it was very accurate up to 800 metres. The English had an equivalent which was mounted on top of the tower of Colchester castle and was called Humpty Dumpty and was untouchable until some tactician had all his cannons fire on the tower and levelled it (which is where the nursery rhyme comes from)

Anyway here is the box and where I am now.

Great build! Very nice work, and excellent work on your Ducatti as well.
Always wanted to try one of the Mantua or Model Expo cannon kits...

Crikey, I wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of that as a model, let alone the real thing
It has a lovely finish, you have been careful ot to blemish it. Top job and well worth the time spent building.
