36" brass rod - recommended supplier
« on: January 20, 2018, 12:16:39 pm »

Just a heads up.... I was after some 1.5mm brass rod of at least 700mm in length for some railings but most of what I could find online was up to a max of 500mm.
Then I came across these guys on ebay:

2K Technologies Limited.
Models, Toys and Hobbies,
Ryders Court
Denholme Gate Road,
Hipperholme,
Halifax. HX3 8JQ
Tel: 01422 209789

They supplied the rods in packs of 2 at 36" lengths and although they cost just over £12, get this.... they were really well packaged, came in a plastic tubs AND they strapped the whole lot to a piece of timber so not even the postie could bend it!!

Here's a link to their ebay shop.
They also have a website.

Special thanks go to Julie B and Craigie for taking care with the packaging and prompt despatch.

Wow... didn't even consider CMB!  Went down the ebay route cos my local model shop only sells them in small 300mm packs of 4 or 5.

Cheers guys
