My holiday photos are not like anybody else's!
Whilst in Buenos Aires I was so interested in all the old trucks. Just so I don't give the wrong impression there are lots of relatively new trucks as well but the old ones have so much more character. I don't know how much longer they will last but for new they are a spectacle. The large number of container flats is a reflection of the fact that a lot of the pictures were taken near the port container terminal & these things just queue up outside.
Please Tamiya truck modellers have a go at something like any of these!
The Mercedes Benz range are most common (whether they sold best or last the longest I don't know) but there are many others as well.
I would have liked to bring the yellow Volvo home. (this was actually photographed on the docks in Montevideo)
