Turnigy Binding
« on: January 29, 2018, 02:08:40 pm »

Okay, I have a Turnigy 9XR pro set up and want to use the transmitter for another model.

I have acquired an identical receiver but candidly am puzzled how to bind this to the Transmitter. The transmitter has a number of model options for individual set up. All this leads me to a number of questions/observations.

1) How do I bind the transmitter to the receiver. The rear module is a "flysky" version which only has a single button titled "bind/range" but there are no buttons at all on the receiver.

2) I've done some web research and the examples shown all seem to have additional buttons at the rear of the module which mine doesn't have albeit there are a couple of screws holding the back on. Am I meant to undo these and remove the back pannel?

3) Should I switch the transmitter on then make the model selection then press the bind button, then power up the receiver?

4) Does this then bind the receiver only to that model selection as obviously I don't want to loose the current settings.

5) Presumably I can bind the transmitter to two or more receivers?

Thanks

I don't know about the 9XR, but other Turnigy/Flysky models require a bind plug in the receiver. This links white and black. Insert plug, switch on Rx, hold Bind button on Tx and switch on.

Not sure if the plug goes in Ch 1 or 6 - seem to remember its different on Spektrum and Flysky.
