Hi all,

I’ve just installed the electrical equipment into my model slipway Trent lifeboat and I cannot for the life of me get it to work. I have tried to follow the instructions to programme the esc to get the motors to work but nothing happens. I’m running dual esc’s through a Y lead. I’m using a graupner my 10 transmitter with corresponding receiver. Can someone please give me some advice to get the motors running and the tv equipment set up?

I can provide photos if it’ll help anyone.

Many thanks

Hi Karl,

I would suggest a step by step approach.

First - connect an ordinary servo (if you don't have a spare temporarily use the rudder servo) to the receiver "throttle" channel with the ESC's completely disconnected and confirm that the servo moves when you move the throttle stick. This will confirm that anything connected to the throttle channel will see a signal proportional to your throttle stick

A picture would help I am sure

What make/model are the ESC's?
How is the receiver powered?

If you look at the component shop website it links out to the action electronics wiring diagrams, maybe some use to you.
